How to be a cat
Move with the thumbstick, WASD, arrow keys or a controller. Left-handed controls swap the two touch clusters.
Drag the world to look around. On desktop, click the scene for mouse look. Recenter, Z or controller R3 brings the camera behind Peaches.
Use Cat senses to sniff clues, listen to a voice or curl up beside Dad. Creep stays quiet; controller D-pad up uses senses and down toggles Creep.
Hold pounce to charge a grounded leap. The ring shows your landing place. Swat stacks, topple dominoes, swing the key and launch yourself from spring pads.
Carry picks up light objects and drags heavy carts. Carry again tosses or releases them. Use places a story object in its matching socket.
Use by a beam or ledge to climb, then push forward. Use enters a tunnel, starts scratching or boards a trolley or box. Jump or Use gets off a ride. With Traversal assist on, Guide my paws appears after a difficult climb or beam attempt; L or D-pad right selects it.
Use turns a mechanism’s nearest handle; Swat starts it; Cat senses reads Dad’s clue. Follow the amber route marks and the compass.
Load a carried prop into a catapult with Use, then Swat to launch it. Use toggles the fan; Swat plays the chimes. Earn modifiers in the journal; G or D-pad left activates your equipped ability.
Search Dad’s office for his note, then follow his trail through the porch path by the living-room fireplace. The compass follows the current story.
Flop gives you a glorious physical tumble. Flop again stands up. Safe paws rescues Peaches while keeping your discoveries.
More paws opens extra touch tools. Your journal keeps story memories, shortcuts, keepsakes, trails, badges and three local adventures. Tidy resets the playground without resetting the story.
